Three decades ago, a group of Kiwi farmers knew New Zealand’s fertiliser industry needed a new direction and voice. From this - what’s become known as ‘the gumboot takeover’ - Ravensdown was born, a co-operative that’s now steeped in success on both sides of the Tasman.

Today we’re proud to be New Zealand’s main supplier of fertiliser, and just as proud to employ around 600 of our industry’s best and brightest. From scientists to sales staff, engineers to IT experts, we’re a diverse team…but one bound by a common goal: to help our shareholders - some 26,000 farmers – maximize their productivity. Because when they achieve everything thrives, including the careers of everyone here.
