At Ravensdown, we’re all here to support our customers’ performance for a more prosperous nation. We’re putting together a team of high energy, focused individuals with the commercial acumen and technology skills to really build on and improve our business in a new Service Delivery Team. This new team, accountable to the Technology Governance Group and led by the Chief Technology Officer, has been tasked to use world class practices and agile project principles to deliver Ravensdown’s digital roadmap, and this role has been created through the introduction of this team for the BAU work and will report to the Business application manager.

About the Role:

As a talented and experienced GIS Analyst, you will be well versed in the development, support and administration of GIS systems. You will be responsible for the technical support and integration of GIS and other enterprise applications, managing the data and third party relationships to ensure accurate GIS data for use for our stakeholder. You will be comfortable working in the Esri GIS and application data management area and providing a second level support for any issues that may arise. This role will allow you to assess the best technical approach for meeting functional enhancements and drive the development and change through to implementation and ensuring the solution meets the requirements of the end users.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in GIS
  • 5 years experience in administration of an ARCGIS server environment
  • Business analysis skills with 2 years in system specifications and design
  • Experience in database interrogation using T-SQL
  • Project delivery experience and managing the software development lifecycle
  • Great communication and relationship building skills
