We’re seeking a high calibre individual to lead our experienced maintenance team to deliver best practice maintenance and service excellence to our manufacturing plant in Napier. Reporting through to the Works Manager, a key aspect of this role is developing and maintaining close working relationships throughout site, ensuring that your team deliver to a high level. You will be pro-active in your management manner, looking after the existing maintenance requirements on site, as well as working with the site managers to introduce initiatives utilising best practice to improve efficiency. You will manage systems and, as a member of the site management team, ensure the maintenance strategy aligns with the overall site strategy around efficiency and performance.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
You will have a focus on Health and Safety and financial performance for your team, and contribute in a positive manner to ensuring the management team lead the site in a constructive collegial way. You will be an excellent communicator with staff and have strong relationship building skills - these together with your strong technical background will be an ideal fit for this role.
