Sometimes you have to dig around a bit to find a job and a company that suits you down to the ground. And you’ve just found it – a job that’s a perfect match for your skills, your ambitions and your way of life. We’re looking for a Quarry Worker to join our tight-knit, experienced quarry crew at our Geraldine Lime Quarry. In this role you’ll look after the day-to-day operation of the processing plant and its machinery, ensuring production of high quality lime. We’re a busy quarry so there’ll be shift work involved, including various activities for maintaining plant reliability & cleanliness.
About the Role:
For the right person, we can offer you the opportunity to join our cadetship scheme. With this, you’ll receive training and mentoring from experienced colleagues, following a set structure to qualify you with the relevant machinery and mobile plant licenses, first aid, hazard identification and other health and safety processes. You’ll progress through recognised industry qualifications and learn real skills to help you advance. You will ultimately obtain your B or A Grade Quarry Managers Certification.
